Hello Senior Families!


Gala 2026 preparations are well underway.  As we move a few weeks into 2026, the excitement is beginning to build for this special year for our students. Our 2026 Gala on June 19 will mark 42 years of Ramsey High School tradition—a safe, fun, and memorable six-hour post-graduation event for our graduates.

 

As you can imagine, hosting an event of this size requires significant financial support. In years past, families paid the full cost of entry. We recognize that the $300 ticket price for 2026 is a substantial expense. As in recent years, we are offering students the opportunity to sell raffle tickets to cover the cost of their individual ticket.


This year’s raffle includes the opportunity to win one of 26 gift card prizes valued at $100 each. As an added incentive, Dr. Thumm has generously offered a parking spot in the faculty lot for one week to the student who sold the first ticket stub drawn.
 

Shortly, your student will receive an envelope from the Gala Committee containing:

 

1) Permission Slip

2) Raffle Information

3) 30 blank raffle tickets

 

By Monday, March 2, 2026, students must return the following to the Gala Box in the RHS office:

 
1) Signed permission slip
2) Fully completed (legible) raffle ticket stubs
3) $300 check payable to "Gala Parent Association"
(please include student name in memo line)
 
Additional details:
 
If your student plans to attend but you prefer not to sell raffle tickets, please return the permission slip along with the $300 check and include your contact information on all 30 raffle tickets
 
If your student would like to sell more than 30 tickets (increasing their chances of winning the parking spot!), please reach out to RGPA@ramsey.k12.nj.us as a limited number of additional tickets are available.
 
If your student does not plan to attend, please mark the permission slip as “not attending” and return the unused tickets.
